Quinta da Romeyra is a historic estate in Bucelas, Lisboa, established in 1703 and restored from 1988 onward. Now owned by the family-run Portuguese company Sogrape, which acquired it from the Ferreira family in 2019, the estate focuses on white wines, particularly detailed interpretations of Arinto from varied soils and exposures. Its vineyards include one of Portugal’s largest continuously planted Arinto sites. The wines are made under the direction of Sogrape head winemaker António Braga, with Luís Cabral de Almeida also associated with the estate. Sogrape describes its investment as a sustainable, long-term project, though no specific certifications or farming practices are stated.
