Lisboa wines follow Portugal’s Atlantic coast north of Lisbon, linking windswept vineyards with warmer, sheltered hills. Start with lively Arinto whites from Bucelas, discover the sandy vineyards of Colares, or explore the rare fortified wines of Carcavelos. Alenquer, Arruda, Torres Vedras and Óbidos offer further contrasts, with Encostas d’Aire extending the journey north. The broad Lisboa regional designation gives growers room for Portuguese grapes and international varieties. Sparkling wines add another dimension, while Lourinhã belongs to the area’s wine-brandy tradition. Compare the full origin and wine type to discover a remarkably varied coastal wine landscape.
