Matthieu Cosse

France

Matthieu Cosse is an independent boutique producer founded in 1999 by Matthieu Cosse and Catherine Maisonneuve. Based in the Cahors region, the estate also works small limestone-and-clay plots in Blaye and Fronsac. Vineyard work is handled by hand under certified biodynamic and organic practices, while the wines follow a natural, minimal-intervention philosophy. Winemaking is led by Cosse and Maisonneuve, with collaboration from Jérôme Ossard. The estate’s limited-production, artisanal approach and absence of a corporate structure reflect a strongly personal style of farming and winemaking.
