Manvi is a small, family-owned organic farm in Montepulciano, Tuscany, run by independent winemakers Puru and Sudha Manvi. Certified organic since 2003, the estate emphasizes handwork, environmentally conscious farming, and minimal machine use. The family manages the complete cycle from grape growing through bottling and marketing, with no externally purchased grapes or wine. Vineyards are planted mainly to Prugnolo Gentile, alongside Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malvasia, and Trebbiano. Fermentation takes place on-site with indigenous yeast and long maceration, followed by extended aging in large oak vessels and barriques and further bottle refinement. Producing wines typical of Montepulciano, including Rosso, Vino Nobile, and Riserva, Manvi combines traditional Tuscan character with a thoughtful, low-impact approach.
