La Madrugada is a wine project in Los Chacayes, Mendoza’s Uco Valley, founded in 2016 by four friends—three Belgians and a Dutchman—whose shared passion brought them to Argentina. Its vineyards lie at high altitude, with alluvial soils containing loam and stones, warm days, cold nights, strong drainage, and irrigation from Andean snowmelt. The producer makes wines from hand-picked grapes, described as organic, and ages them in authentic oak barrels. The wines are presented as having a fully ripe profile shaped by the region’s distinctive high-altitude terroir.
