Founded in 1803 in France’s Loire Valley, Domaine Trotereau is a historic estate led by principal owner Pierre Ragon, who has managed the domaine since 1973. He works alongside Augustin Ponroy, identified as the future successor and partner for the Château de Quincy cuvée. The domaine farms sandy, flint-rich soils over pink limestone and follows Lutte Raisonnée, a low-intervention, sustainable approach without listed formal certification. Winemaking is directed by Ragon with collaborative input from Ponroy, reflecting a continuity of experience and succession.
