Domaine Thenard is a multigenerational, family-owned Burgundy estate founded in 1920, with vineyards in Givry and the Côte d’Or, including Grand Cru parcels such as Le Montrachet and Grands Échezeaux. Jean-Baptiste Bordeaux-Montrieux, who has led the domaine since the 1980s, works alongside his son André, the current winemaker and winegrower. The estate farms sustainably through cover crops, composting and natural pest control. Its traditional winemaking includes wooden fermenters, foot-punching, spontaneous fermentation and 12–24 months of barrel ageing with modest new oak.
