Domaine Chamonard

France

Domaine Chamonard is a small, family-owned estate in Villié-Morgon, founded by Joseph Chamonard in the 1960s and now run by his daughter Jeanne (Geneviève) Chanudet and her husband, Jean-Claude. Working mainly in the Morgon cru, with a parcel in Fleurie, the domaine follows certified organic and biodynamic practices. Its wines are natural and low-intervention, made from hand-harvested Gamay with native yeasts. Production is modest, reflecting the hands-on scale and family continuity of this Beaujolais domaine.
