Domaine Bonnet-Cotton

France

Domaine Bonnet-Cotton is a family-owned estate in Odenas, Beaujolais, led by Pierre Cotton and his partner Marine Bonnet, with roots in the Sanvers and Cotton families. Its vineyards span Côte de Brouilly, Brouilly, Régnié, Fleurie and Beaujolais, including a tiny Chardonnay parcel, with old Gamay vines on steep south-facing volcanic schist slopes on Mount Brouilly. All vineyards are certified organic, farmed without herbicides or synthetic treatments, with cover crops and hand harvesting. In the cellar, the approach is minimal-intervention: native-yeast fermentations, low or no added sulfites, concrete tanks, old oak foudres, and wines often left unfined and unfiltered. The domaine focuses on low yields, old-vine fruit and a natural expression of Beaujolais terroir.
