Closson Chase Vineyards

Canada

Closson Chase Vineyards is a family-run estate in Prince Edward County, Ontario, founded in 1999 and owned by winemaker Keith Tyers and his wife Cassandra, who live on and operate the property. The estate is planted on south-facing, limestone-rich soils with high-density vineyards focused on Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, with additional fruit sourced from leased vineyards in the Niagara Peninsula. The wines are made in a Burgundian style, with small yields, French-inspired winemaking and aging in 100% French oak. No specific sustainability certifications are noted.
