Château MontPlaisir is a historic estate in Valréas, in the southern Rhône’s Enclave des Papes, centered on a renovated 17th-century residence and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Its 14 hectares include high-altitude parcels in Vinsobres, reaching 500 metres, with rolled pebbles, marl and sandy soils, as well as plots in Valréas. The estate has been organically certified since the end of its conversion period, with no pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Grapes are hand-picked, carefully sorted and transported in small crates. Vinification is carried out by grape variety and parcel to preserve the character of each site, with maturation in vats and selected wines aged in oak demi-muids. The estate produces wines from Vinsobres and Valréas, including Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Rhône white varieties.
