Château Barrail Saint André

France

Château Barrail Saint-André is a boutique Bordeaux estate focused on limited-scale, quality-driven winemaking. Agnès and her son Damiens lead the wines and created the Sans Soufre cuvée, with an approach built on strict plot selection and careful vine management. The estate farms organically and follows biodynamic viticulture under Demeter standards, alongside Biodyvin and Growing Tomorrow mentions in the available notes. Certified HVE since 2019, it also promotes biodiversity on the property, including keeping donkeys on the grounds. Overall, it presents as a sustainably minded, artisanal producer with hands-on family involvement and a clear focus on precise vineyard work.
