Château Armens is a Saint-Émilion estate in Bordeaux, acquired by Alexandre de Malet Roquefort in 1999 and worked by the teams of the Comte de Malet Roquefort estates, a family established in the area since 1705. Its vineyards lie on gravel-limestone, limestone and clay-limestone soils, with manual harvesting and vines averaging 35 years old. The estate practices integrated, environmentally respectful agriculture and holds Haute Valeur Environnementale OCACIA certification. Winemaking is carried out parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled stainless steel. The 2020 wine is composed of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, then aged for 13 months in steel and barrels. It is presented and marketed by Vineyard Brands.
