Founded in 2003 by Professor Nicola Trabucco in Carinola, Campania, Cantina Trabucco is a family-owned boutique winery shaped by the Massico mountain area’s distinctive microclimate. Its vineyards sit at approximately 1,200 feet on clay and sandy soils with substantial volcanic intrusions, enabling grape growing even in marginal sites. Nicola Trabucco also helped establish the Falerno del Massico DOC, while winemaking is led by his son Danilo, who took on the role at 20. The estate sells directly through its online shop and welcomes visitors by reservation, reflecting a personal, hands-on approach.
