Founded in 1874, Zorzettig is a family-owned winery in Spessa di Cividale, in Friuli’s Colli Orientali, now led by Annalisa Zorzettig with the involvement of the next generation. Its vineyards occupy sunny hills of marl and sandstone “ponca” across several local terroirs, where the mild Alpine- and Adriatic-influenced climate supports native varieties including Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Picolit, Pignolo, Schioppettino and Tazzelenghe. The estate follows integrated viticulture under the SQNPI protocol, has eliminated synthetic insecticides and chemical weed control, and works on biodiversity through ecological infrastructures, biological control and collaboration with the University of Udine. Its wines emphasize freshness, minerality, fruit, elegance and a strong sense of Friulian identity.
