Reichsrat von Buhl is a historic family-owned estate in the Pfalz, founded in 1849 and long associated with top sites in Deidesheim and Forst in the Mittelhaardt. The winery is especially known for Riesling and works in a terroir-driven, timeless style. Its vineyards are certified organic, and the estate emphasizes natural, sustainable viticulture, with additional recognition as a nature conservation partner in Rhineland-Palatinate. Reichsrat von Buhl farms classified VDP.Erste Lage and VDP.Grosse Lage vineyards, including original plots in Ungeheuer and Freundstück, and also produces sparkling wines. Winemaking has been overseen by Mathieu Kauffmann, with vineyard management led by Werner Sebastian.
