Masseria Surani is a Tommasi Family Estates property in Salento, Puglia, owned and managed by the Tommasi family. Its vineyards lie in Manduria and near Lizzano, on predominantly limestone soils, with Primitivo, Fiano, Negroamaro, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay among the principal varieties. Viticulture combines strict clonal selection, modern training, severe pruning and the Guyot system, with irrigation limited to periods of extreme drought. The estate emphasizes respect for terroir and biodiversity, although no formal sustainability certifications are listed. The wines reflect the character of Puglia through a range of native and international grapes.
