Founded in 2011 by Redmond “Herring” Sweeny and Tony “Snake” Davis, Snake and Herring sources fruit from premium viticultural sites across Western Australia. The partners work with passionate growers who share their commitment to beautiful wine and sustainable practices, avoiding insecticides and herbicides while improving soil through mulches, non-chemical nutrients and minimal tillage. Some vineyards are working towards organic and biodynamic certification. Winemaker Tony Davis brings more than 25 years’ experience producing award-winning wines for leading Australian wineries. The wines are available through the Wilyabrup cellar door and are served at Yarri Restaurant + Bar in Dunsborough.
