Rosarubra is a family-run estate in Pietranico, Abruzzo, owned and operated by Società Agricola Rosarubra S.r.l. Its vineyards lie between the sea and mountains, at approximately 300–500 metres, surrounded by oak woodland and rich biodiversity. The estate follows organic and biodynamic principles, with Organic and DEMETER® certifications, avoiding pesticides and chemical agents while using biodynamic preparations, indigenous mycorrhizae and practices designed to restore soil fertility. Bees, useful insects, medicinal plants and local wildlife are actively supported. With vines averaging 30 years old, Rosarubra’s approach is centred on symbiotic agriculture, soil and plant microbiology, and preserving the genetic character of its terroir.
