Poderi Parpinello is a family-run estate in Sardinia’s Alghero area, founded by oenologist Giampaolo Parpinello and now managed with his son Paolo and the wider family. Its vineyards lie across three historically significant sites: near Lake Baratz, at Janna de Mare between Alghero and Sassari, and on the Castelsardo coast. The family’s viticultural story began with grandfather Luigi and now spans three generations. Giampaolo remains involved as winemaker, combining controlled winemaking and technological innovation with respect for local tradition. The estate focuses on Sardinian varieties including Vermentino, Cannonau, Monica, Cagnulari, Torbato and Semidano, alongside selected international grapes. Visits, tastings and La Vinia Bed & Wine Experience offer an intimate introduction to the vineyards, wines and family history.
