Domaine Hubert Lignier is a long-established family estate in Morey-Saint-Denis, Burgundy, now led by Laurent Lignier with involvement from Hubert Lignier. Active across generations since the late 19th century, the domaine farms sites in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, including Grand and Premier Cru vineyards. Farming is certified organic as of 2019 after years of conversion, with no herbicides or chemical insecticides, organic compost, massal selection, and some biodynamic conversion. In the cellar, the approach is traditional and low-intervention, with hand-harvesting, spontaneous fermentation, restrained oak, and wines bottled with minimal manipulation. The style is classic and terroir-driven, known for elegant Pinot Noir and wines with ageing potential.
