Domaine Frédéric Mabileau is a family-owned Loire Valley estate in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, with vineyards across Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Bourgueil, Saumur and Anjou. Founded in 1991 by Frédéric and Nathalie Mabileau and rooted in a multi-generation vine-growing family, it is now managed by Nathalie and Rémy Mabileau, with Rémy leading winemaking. The domaine focuses on Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc. Farming is certified organic since 2007 and biodynamic through Biodyvin since 2018, with no insecticides or synthetic chemicals, hand harvesting, and attention to biodiversity. Winemaking follows a low-intervention approach, including spontaneous fermentations, indigenous yeasts and low sulphur use, with the aim of producing expressive, elegant wines that reflect their terroirs.
