Domaine d’Edouard

France

Domaine d’Edouard is a family-run Burgundy estate owned and operated by Édouard Lepesme, who took over in 2014 after working in wine marketing and training at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune. The domaine farms 14.5 hectares, divided evenly between red and white varieties, on mineral-rich Jurassic and Cretaceous soils as well as chalky slopes associated with purity and finesse. Its vineyards were converted to certified organic viticulture in the early 2000s and are also described as biodynamic, producing “living wines.” Lepesme serves as both owner and head winemaker, overseeing an annual production of roughly 50,000 bottles.
