Domaine Chignard is a family-owned Burgundy domaine run by fourth-generation vigneron Michel Chignard, with his son Cédric taking over management in 2007. The estate focuses on the Les Moriers parcel in Fleurie, where granite soils, vines averaging over 70 years old, and naturally low yields shape its wines. Farming is traditional and minimalist, with hand-harvested grapes and whole-cluster fermentation in stainless-steel and cement tanks. Wines are aged in large old foudres, concrete, and steel, preserving a light, playful style marked by ripe fruit and a clear sense of terroir. The family has also expanded into producing a Beaujolais cru from Juliénas.
