Domaine Bernard Moreau et Fils is a fourth-generation family domaine in Burgundy, founded in 1809 and based in Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. Following a 2021 division between brothers Alexandre (Alex) and Benoît Moreau, Alex remains on site as winemaker and cellar manager, while Benoît oversees the vineyards. The domaine farms organically, though it is not fully certified: soils are plowed, herbicides have been avoided for more than 15 years, chemical sprays have not been used since 2013, and only organic products have been used since 2014. Its wines are predominantly white, mainly Chardonnay, with barrel ageing and restrained new oak; whites are typically fined and unfiltered, while reds are neither fined nor filtered.
