Producer

Dom Brial

France

Founded in Baixas in 1923, Dom Brial is a grower-owned cooperative rooted in the Roussillon and Catalan terroir. Its member winegrowers work across diverse sites, including rolled-pebble terraces, schist slopes, clay-limestone hillsides and sandy terraces. The cooperative combines collective expertise with a strong commitment to responsible farming: organic production, HVE certification, hedge planting, vitipastoralism with sheep and goats, biodiversity protection and water-saving measures. Certified for CSR excellence under ISO 26000, it also holds ISO 9001 and IFS certifications. Dom Brial produces Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages, IGP Côtes Catalanes BIO and traditional Rivesaltes natural sweet wines, including long-aged Rivesaltes Ambré. Its wines have received recognition in France and internationally, while the cooperative remains closely involved in local cultural, educational and generational-transition initiatives.
