Costaripa is a family-owned winery in Moniga del Garda, at the heart of Lombardy’s Valtènesi region, where the Vezzola family has worked since 1928. Led by winemaker Mattia Vezzola, the estate is particularly devoted to elegant, terroir-driven rosé, alongside Groppello-based reds and Metodo Classico sparkling wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Nero. Its approach combines artisanal attention with research and modern technology: vineyards are managed biodynamically, with mechanical soil work, careful bud selection, restrained yields and hand harvesting. Vezzola’s long experience in Champagne and Franciacorta informs a style focused on freshness, finesse, harmony and longevity, while preserving the identity of Lake Garda and its morainic soils.
