Clos del Rey

France

Clos del Rey is a multigenerational, family-run estate in Maury, owned and farmed by Jacques and Julien Montagne, with Julien as winemaker. Its wines come from stony black schist, limestone, clay and ferric-tailings soils, including traditional bush-trained vines up to 138 years old. The estate follows a low-yield, quality-focused approach and markets its wines as Sustainable and Vegan-Friendly, although no organic or biodynamic certifications are listed. Its small estate-wine production includes Le Sabina and very limited releases such as L’Aragone.
