Château Tournefeuille is a modest, family-owned estate in Saint-Émilion, situated on steep, southwest-facing slopes. Virginie and Emeric Petit have owned the property since 1998, with Emeric leading the winemaking. Its vineyard is planted mainly to Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and farming combines biodynamic management on half the vines with a reasoned organic approach, including grass cover between rows. The estate’s wines reflect the classic Saint-Émilion blend, shaped by the site’s exposed slopes and the hands-on involvement of the Petit family, with historical support from oenologists Jean-Claude Berruet and Catherine Cohen.
