Château Les Barraillots

France

Château Les Barraillots is a tiny, family-owned estate in Margaux, classified among the Crus Artisans du Médoc. Owned by Michel Brunet and operated by his son or grandson Yannick Brunet, also known as Yannick Martin-Brunet, the estate works vines averaging 40 years old. Its low-intervention, organic-style approach avoids chemicals, relying on cow-manure fertilizer, manual harvesting, green harvesting and leaf removal, with occasional mechanical picking. The wines are made on a modest scale under Yannick’s direction.
