Château de la Jaubertie is a family-owned estate in the Dordogne, near the Monbazillac appellation and around 100 km from Bordeaux. Owned by the Ryman family since 1973 and led by Hugh and Anne Ryman, it combines Hugh’s oenological expertise with a long-term commitment to organic viticulture, certified since 2008. The vineyard’s plateau, limestone hillsides and grey-clay lowlands support a broad range of Bergerac, Monbazillac and Périgord wines, including reds, whites, rosés, sparkling and natural cuvées. Winemaking emphasizes careful ripening, low-temperature vinification, minimal intervention and authentic terroir expression. The historic château, listed as a monument since 2005, remains at the heart of the estate, which offers intimate tours, tastings and cultural events.
