Champagne Laurent Lequart is a fourth-generation family estate in Passy-Grigny in the Vallée de la Marne, led by owner-winemaker Laurent Lequart with Kevin Sibille involved. The house is centered on Meunier, with vineyards in Passy-Grigny, Saint-Gemme, and Verneuil on clay-limestone and clay-sandy soils. Sustainable farming has been practiced since 1988, with HVE and VDC certification, hand harvesting, and careful parcel selection. Operating as a Récoltant-Coopérateur, the estate works with the Dom Caudron cooperative for pressing and vinification. The wines emphasize the character of Meunier, with thoughtful cellar work including reserve wines, full malolactic fermentation, and aging in tank, with some barrel or foudre élevage mentioned for parts of the range.
