Italy

Camparo is a family-owned estate in Diano d’Alba, in Piedmont’s Langhe and Barolo region, founded by Mauro Drocco in the early 1980s and still run by the Drocco family. Certified organic since 2000, the estate focuses on soil regeneration, biodiversity and working in harmony with nature. Green manure, fruit trees, mechanical mowing, gentle Guyot pruning and plant-based treatments, alongside copper and sulphur, are central to its farming. The family lives among the vineyards and combines traditional agricultural knowledge with modern observation of nature and changing conditions. In the cellar, the wines are made with traditional methods and indigenous yeasts, with an emphasis on expressing each vintage and the natural character of the grape varieties.
