Bodega Valdehermoso is a family-owned winery in Nava del Rey, at the heart of D.O. Rueda in Castilla y León. Formalized in 2004, it released its first wine in 2005 and is owned and led by David Aguado, an agricultural engineer specializing in viticulture and oenology. The estate owns vineyards planted to Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc and Viura, with a further project in Ribera del Duero. Its farming emphasizes ecological balance, though no organic or biodynamic certification is noted. The winery pioneered lees-aged wines, including barrel ageing with different oaks, and uses practices such as night harvesting to preserve freshness. Its range includes white, red, rosé, sparkling, sweet and fortified wines, with a particular focus on quality Rueda whites and limited-edition estate wines.
