Vincent Girardin

France

Domaine Vincent Girardin is an 11th-generation family estate in Burgundy, founded in 1980, with vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and additional holdings in Beaujolais. Family-owned, the domaine has remained under the Girardin name while operational control passed to Jean-Pierre Nié in 2012; it also includes a négociant arm. The estate focuses mainly on white wines. Since 1997 it has avoided herbicides and adopted biodynamic practices including deep ploughing, compost, and soft treatments. It was certified biodynamic from 2007 to 2010 and continues to farm organically. Winemaking is led by Eric Germain, with Vincent Girardin collaborating.
