Villa Broglia is made at the Broglia family’s historic La Meirana estate in Gavi, Piedmont, acquired in 1972 and now managed by the third generation, Gian Piero and Paolo Broglia. The estate’s Cortese vineyards are Guyot-trained, with some vines dating from the 1950s, and Villa Broglia is produced in limited quantities from its dedicated vineyard. Winemaking combines traditional and modern methods, including stainless-steel vinification and maturation. The family also pursues clonal selection and university research into sulfite-free vinification, reflecting an ongoing commitment to vineyard preservation and experimentation.
