Founded in 2004 in Portugal’s Alentejo, Terra d’Alter is a joint venture involving Sociedade Agrícola das Antas, Sociedade Agrícola do Monte Barrão and Australian winemaker Peter Bright, with the Roquette and Borges families also involved. Bright, a former “Flying Winemaker” with 35 years of experience, serves as head winemaker and business partner. The estate cultivates vineyards and produces wines shaped by this international partnership and Alentejo setting. No specific sustainability certifications are noted.
