Pierre Cherrier et Fils

France

Founded in 1927, Pierre Cherrier & Fils is a family-owned estate in Chaudoux in the Loire Valley, now managed and run by Pierre Cherrier’s sons, François and Jean-Marie, who are also the winemakers. Their rosé is sourced from the single vineyard La Croix Poignant, where vines average around 20 years old and grow in classic Loire “terres blanches” soils—a mix of clay, chalk and flint. The grapes are harvested by hand in small lots, reflecting a focused, site-specific approach to production.
