Nadège Herbel, also known as Nadège Lelandais, runs Les Vignes Herbel in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay, Val du Layon, Anjou. She has farmed organically since 2005, with Ecocert certification and biodynamic practices, and has directed the project solo since 2018 after previously working with Laurent Herbel. Her small estate grows Chenin, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and young Pineau d’Aunis. The wines are natural and low-intervention: hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented with ambient yeasts, unfined, unfiltered and made without added sulfites. Reds, whites, rosés and pét-nats—including Vigneronne, Oser, La Pointe and Tiphaine—are praised for their balance, vibrancy, fruit and authenticity.
