Champagne Mandois is an independent, family-owned maison vigneronne based in Pierry, with roots dating to 1735 and now led by ninth-generation Claude Mandois. The estate farms 37 hectares across diverse Champagne terroirs, with 23 hectares certified organic since 2020 and additional biodynamic practices including cover crops, mechanical soil work and plant-based preparations. Chardonnay is the signature variety, supported by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, with grapes sourced across the Côte des Blancs, Coteaux Sud d’Épernay, Sézannais and Côte des Bars. Traditional blending is balanced by parcel-specific wines, including Clos Mandois. In the historic Pierry cellars, wines receive extended lees ageing—at least three years for non-vintage cuvées and up to ten years for some vintages—alongside low dosage and varied fermentation vessels. The style is defined by finesse, freshness, delicate texture and long finish.
