La Capranera is a wine project of the Pagano family’s San Salvatore estate in the Capaccio-Paestum area of Campania, founded by Giuseppe Pagano in 1988. Its certified organic and biodynamic vineyards occupy volcanic, clay and chalk soils at around 130 metres, with volcanic influence from Mount Vesuvius. The estate focuses on indigenous Campanian varieties including Falanghina, Fiano and Aglianico, producing modern-style, affordable wines through a minimal-intervention approach.
