Family-owned Jasci & Marchesani, based in Vasto, Abruzzo, has pursued organic viticulture since its founding in 1960 and has been certified organic since 1978, making it an early Italian pioneer. The Jasci–Marchesani family remains closely involved, with Nicola Jasci leading the winery and Federica overseeing technical and enological work. Vineyards in the Sinello valley produce saline, savory whites, while the clay hills of the Vasto area yield distinctive Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. The estate emphasizes low yields, minimal treatments and vineyard-led identity, supported by renewable energy, lighter bottles, recycled labels and precision weather and spraying systems. Its range includes modern organic interpretations such as Janù, Nerubè and Autentico, alongside Pecorino, Riesling, Traminer and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo.
