Harewood Estate

Australia

Founded in 1988 in Western Australia, Harewood Estate has been fully owned by James Kellie and his family since 2010. Kellie, formerly a winemaker at Howard Park, is the estate’s principal winemaker, while the family also owns the nearby Apricus Hill vineyard. Harewood’s vineyards include dry-grown vines planted on gravelly karri loam soils, including a north-facing F block, with plantings dating from 1988 and 1995. The estate produces wines from its own vineyard holdings and operates an expanded winery. No sustainability certifications or specific environmental practices are noted.
