Girolamo Russo is a family-owned estate on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, re-established in 2005 by Giuseppe Russo in memory of his father. The estate farms about 15–18 hectares of old bush-trained vines on volcanic lava soils at 600–900 meters altitude, using certified organic and traditional hand-crafted practices. The winery focuses on expressing the distinct character of each contrada (cru) through separate fermentations. Beyond winemaking, the estate hosts cultural events like the Feudo Art Residency, combining music and wine tastings in its vineyards.
