Domaine Gueugnon Rémond

France

Domaine Gueugnon Rémond is a family-owned estate in Charnay-lès-Mâcon, in Burgundy’s southern Mâconnais, established in 1980 and run by its second generation since 1997. The family works 14 hectares as winegrowers and harvesters, with methods respectful of fauna, flora and the environment; the estate has held Haute Valeur Environnementale certification since 2018. Traditional vinification, in oak barrels or vats, focuses on expressing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gamay and the character of the local terroirs. The wines range from complex, old-vine cuvées to lighter, fruitier styles. The domaine’s vineyard tradition is linked to the Mâconnais history dating to 1660, and the family continues to work with passion and respect for tradition.
