Domaine Font de Courtedune

France

Domaine Font de Courtedune is a family-owned estate in the Rhône Valley, founded by René Charrier in 1997 and now run by his children Caroline and Frédéric. Its vineyards in the Courthezon area include sandy soils and old vines, producing Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône, alongside IGP Vaucluse parcels. Farming is described as fairly conventional but sustainable, with gentle, low-intervention practices and no formal certification noted. Winemaking, led by Caroline Charrier, uses native yeasts, whole-cluster fermentation in concrete tanks, no oak, and extended concrete aging—an approach focused on expressing the fruit and site without heavy cellar influence.
