Domaine des Ballandors

France

Domaine des Ballandors is a family-owned Loire Valley estate in Quincy, created and operated by Jean Tatin and Chantal Wilk. The domaine farms vineyards on sand-clay soils, as well as sand over chalky flint-limestone, with vines ranging from young plantings to around 40 years old. Its cultivation is certified by Terra Vitis for sustainable viticulture. Jean, trained in agricultural sciences, leads the winemaking alongside Chantal, who is trained in viticulture. The Tatins are also founder members of the Cave Romane cooperative cellar at Brinay, reflecting their close connection to the local wine community.
