Domaine de Chevillard

France

Domaine de Chevillard is a family-run estate in the Combe de Savoie around Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny, founded and operated by owner-winemaker Matthieu Goury. Certified organic since 2017 and in conversion to biodynamics since 2020, the domaine farms hillside vineyards across several local villages, with manual harvests and a strong focus on Savoyard grapes including Mondeuse, Jacquère and Altesse. Goury’s approach is low-intervention, using native yeasts, gentle pressing, gravity-fed cellar work, limited sulfur and careful élevage to highlight terroir. The wines aim for precision, balance and freshness, with particular attention to site expression in the whites and ripe, balanced structure in the reds. The estate was named Prix de la Découverte 2019 by La Revue du Vin de France.
