Chionetti

Italy

Chionetti is a fifth-generation family estate in Dogliani, Piedmont, with roots in viticulture dating to the 19th century and a winery founded in 1912. Long identified with Dolcetto, the family was among the first in Dogliani to bottle its own wines and to name vineyards on the label. Today it farms organically certified estate vineyards with a long-standing rejection of herbicides, manual work in the vines, Guyot training, and careful cluster selection. The focus is on healthy grapes, respect for nature, and wines that express each site, soil, and vintage with authenticity and elegance. Alongside historic Dogliani sites such as San Luigi, Chionetti also works vineyards in the Barolo area and explores other Langhe varieties.
