Château L’Etoile de Clotte is a small Saint-Émilion estate operated by Jean-François Meynard and Christelle Gauthier through Vignobles Meynard. Their families have local roots dating to the 19th century, and the business evolved from selling grapes and bulk wine to producing estate-bottled wines. Jean-François Meynard oversees both vineyard work and winemaking. The approximately 2.5 hectares of vines average 40–45 years old, with plantings described as predominantly Merlot-led, alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec. No formal sustainability certification or specific environmental program is reported.
